Lexington United Wildcat AAU Day 1 Sound Hitters

The Union 16 UA Black, MAVA Adidas 16 Select, Rise 16-1, [program_tooltip program_id='481203' first='Northern' last='Kentucky Volleyball Club'] 16-3 Typhoon, Club 217 16 Jay, Union 16 UA Blue, Union 16 UA Green and Rise 16-2 teams finished undefeated on the day. All of those teams went 3-0 except the 16 UA Blue winning both games in the pool of just three teams. The Gold and Silver games take place back at the Lexington Sports Center and the Bronze championship takes place at Lafayette.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 15s Division saw Cincy Classics 15 Red, Union 14 UA Black, Union 15 UA Green, Union 15 Purple and Union 15 UA Blue team finished an undefeated 3-0 on the day. She recovers quickly on blocked shots to keep plays alive, not afraid to push balls to different parts of the court to put them down. Stoff said she's been working on getting better balls up on defense and getting more touches on her blocks to help out the defense. Cecil has a great net presence constantly forcing opponents to hit balls into the net. She has a nice arm swing. She runs good fakes on tandems. Kinkead said she has been working on her communication on the court. She's turning into a reliable outside hitter for the UA 16 Green squad. She puts sound power into balls and is especially tough near the lines.
