Ranked, But Still Under The Radar

She finished among the state leaders in blocks last season with 67 in 81 sets played. She also collected 294 kills for the Red Raiders last fall. She has shown a steady improvement in her kill numbers from year-to-year. She is ranked No. 38 overall and has committed to play for Northwestern State. She is a long and lanky middle with cat-like speed. She understands how to play winning volleyball and understands which skills she is best at. A college program will get her in the weight room, and the stronger she gets, the more dominant she can be at the net. Wichita North did not publish public stats last season, which makes it difficult to compare Daggett to some of the other better blockers and attackers in the state. She has excellent quickness and the physicality to be an athlete a college team can build around. She can hit from the middle or outside. She is ranked No. 47 overall and plays for a program that continues to produce college-ready athletes. She recorded 167 kills and 20 blocks as a sophomore. She heads into her junior season with the expectations of carrying a heavier attacking role.
