She's known for making impressive digs, even against the toughest swings, and is always ready to step up in crucial moments with her dependable defense and effective serving. A strong leader on the court, Swaney brings not only skill, but a high volleyball IQ, making smart decisions.

Addy Swaney is a high-energy, confident competitor who thrives under pressure and craves the spotlight. She’s motivated by recognition, using it as fuel to perform at her best both on & off the court. Addy’s strong sense of self makes her resilient to criticism, while her dependable and supportive nature makes her a trusted teammate & friend. Known for her bold presence and infectious personality.

After not making a club team, Addison chose growth over defeat. She took ownership, apologized, and used the setback as fuel to rise stronger. Joining a new team, she became captain, earned MVP honors, and made the Badger Region HP top 30. Through it all, she proved that resilience, heart, and determination can turn adversity into opportunity; no obstacle is too great.

What type of college are you looking for?

Addison is seeking a college where she can pursue a rigorous pre-medical track while continuing to play competitive volleyball. While Division I is her goal, she is also open to Division II or scholarship-driven programs that offer strong academic support. Her top priority is finding a school that balances academic excellence with the opportunity to compete at a high level in the sport she loves.
