The libero from Kettle Moraine Lutheran has had quite the year.  She was able to play down an age group, but made a huge impact where she was part of the FC Elite 14 Navy team who won the USAV 14 National division championship in Indianapolis this past summer.  She has quite the motor where she covers quite the range while being very solid in her base and in serve receive.  She has been a key part of the success of Kettle Moraine Lutheran team who is building a lot of momentum heading into the post season.  Swaney will be back for FC Elite this summer where she will be one to track among 2029 liberos.

You could hear Addison Swaney Addison Swaney 5'6" | DS/L/OH Kettle Moraine Lutheran | 2029 State WI as much as you could watch her. She kept the back row organized, wasn’t afraid to take charge of serve-receive, and brought energy to every rally. Her platform stayed consistent, but it was her leadership and confidence that kept standing out. She played like someone her teammates naturally trust. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

Addison is a standout libero who consistently came up with difficult digs from the left-back position, keeping rallies alive and giving her team additional opportunities to score. She was extremely solid in serve receive, delivering clean passes and helping her offense stay in system throughout the match. What stood out most was her hustle—she chased down every ball with relentless effort, Her defensive instincts, determination, and willingness to do the little things made her a key contributor in the back row.

Watching FC Elite, and you will spot Addison, even with all the giants on the floor. She is the coach on the floor; she is making sure everyone is where they should be, and coaches are talking through her as well. She is impressive. I became a fan watching her track and cover the floor on angles you only see at times in years later. Her game is advanced.

Addison may only be a freshman, but she plays well beyond her years. She went up against upperclassmen all weekend and handled every challenge like a seasoned player. Always all over the court, she finds a way to help her team on every possession, consistently stepping up and demanding the ball. Her skill, poise, and consistency make her a player to watch for years to come. With her energy, versatility, and fearlessness, she’s the kind of player who can completely shift the momentum of a match.
