At this point, Hatfield remains the top DS/L prospect in the 2029 Ohio class. As there are others that are performing well, a lot can happen as these rankings continue to evolve. However, don’t discount what Hatfield can do right now as her Elevation team outright earned their bid to the 15 Open division with a gold medal finish at the NQ in Atlanta. As the top-ranked 15U squad in Ohio, this team deserves recognition of key athletes that should have them competing extremely well on the national stage. Their final tune-up is at the Player’s Championship in Louisville later this month.

In watching Hatfield more and more recently, it is evident that she is a high impact aspect for her Elevation team. They recently won the Big South NQ in the 15 Open division as she continues to solidify this team’s ball control and defense with the effort and example she displays each time she takes the court. She is so locked in to what her role is as their primary libero and is engaged through every contact during point flow. Her quick and efficient movement help her remain very effective in her ability to play the ball with good pursuit and angle production.

Hatfield’s effort this club season is helping her team compete well. Her pursuit of the ball is effective from how she reacts as she can pass and dig in all directions. By getting herself into good situations based on what the ball is telling her to do, she helps get her setters into good situations also. Elevation 15 Ed finished 2nd overall at the recent Bluegrass event in 15 Open. They earlier finished 5th at the Nike Classic as well as 29th overall at loaded NIT even in the elite division

A member of the OVR 15U all-star team a season ago, Hatfield plays defense with great composure. She prepares well to use her first step efficiently to match her relentless pursuit of the ball with good range. She’s steady in her contributions and support of her team’s offense while leading their defense, which could be an x-factor for Elevation 15 Ed this club season. Finishing 5th overall in 15 Open at the recent Nike Classic, this group opens up the Central Zones event as the #3 overall seed.

Hatfield is a 5’4 DS/L prospect that plays for Elevation 14 Cameron. Her passing and defensive tools have been key for her team all season, which include good read and reaction that helps her range and quality of contact. Hatfield most recently helped guide her team to a podium finish with a 3rd place result at the 2025 Players Championship event in Louisville.
