About Caroline

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My coaches have taught me to be INTENTIONAL in every touch. I prioritize my options for each rotation and ensure my teammates know their assignments. I strive for early reads on my opponents’ block and as well as when I am in defense. I have been blessed with TECHNICAL coaches who have taught me proper setting mechanics that serve me well in my precision as a setter.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

On the court, I am PATIENT and PERSISTENT. As a setter, I am invested in the success of every teammate, but I also aim to help my team leave any failures in the past. I am also a COMPOSED and FOCUSED player. Every point is business as usual, regardless of the score.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I was selected for the 2025 Young Citizenship Award by the Exchange Club of Brunswick. I am an all-A honor roll student and student of the month recipient. I am a member of a 707 Bible study group, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a setter, I am required to be a leader on the court and I’ve learned a leader’s job is much easier when the role is carried out with INTEGRITY and HUMILITY.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

In the summer of 2024, my family moved from the Atlanta area to southeast Georgia. I made new friends, but finding a volleyball program in our small town where I could grow was more challenging. I’m so grateful for the support of my mom and dad who are willing to drive me an hour and a half, each way, to Jacksonville, FL multiple times a week for the training that benefits me most.

She moves with urgency, navigating tight spaces and broken plays while still delivering clean, attackable balls. Furthermore, Caroline is not afraid to challenge defenses at the net, using dumps, jousts, and tight-set attacks to surprise opponents. Her defensive posture remains low and balanced, which allows her to dig hard-driven balls and instantly flow back into setter footwork. She also forms well-timed blocks, elevating her presence in front-row rotations.
