Ashland Summer League Notables

Lowman is a sound passer, setting the Kittens up for success with first touches. Lowman said communicating with hitters well and figuring out what they want are keys to good sets. Wiley should benefit from one-on-one opportunities on the outside with the size Ashland possesses in the middle. Wiley brings a good net presence and a sound jump serve. Rigsby has a good wrist snap sending balls down harder to the back line. She slides and goes to her knees to dig up balls when needed. Pfeffer makes routing passes consistently and provides Mason County with good net coverage. Pfeffer takes good out of system hits when needed. Her experience in the back row could be a key to Mason County taking more steps forward. She reacts quick to balls hit near her. Allison makes nice out of system passes.
