She takes good command of the court from the setting role with the ability to distribute the full range of offense with good footwork and touch that helps her location. She was atop the ECC with 922 assists as they finished 15-3 in league play, good enough for 2nd place. Over three varsity seasons she has amassed 872 digs. She also upgraded her serving effort with 51 total aces. She reads the floor well and is relentless in her pursuit of the ball when needed. Tolin's passing is also important to NDCL's success as she tracks the ball well with good balance and angles out early and away from her body. She had a career best 571 digs in 2024 for a whopping 22 d/m average. She patrols the back row from middle back with good purpose and reaction defensively. What stands out is her her first step pursuit that helps her create good range given her 5'2 frame.
