<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='810015' first='Tori' last='Evans'], Middle Blocker at Bishop Montgomery High School, sees herself as a leader in the front row, scoring most of her points through kills and bringing energy that radiates through her team. “I think I'm a smart hitter that does a good job of reading the block and working around it,” she shared, noting her ability to tip or hit through seams when needed. In high-pressure moments, she takes it one point at a time, using her coaches' advice to treat third sets as small games to five. If nerves creep in on the sideline, she resets quickly before returning to cheer on her teammates. On the court, her focus is on doing her job to the best of her ability. Tori has been working on her blocking timing and setter-hitter connection, and her teammates know her as kindhearted, easy to talk to, and always smiling.
