The best 80 players have been unveiled in this latest publishing of the 2029 class. We have been watching the 2029 class very closely throughout the entire club & high school season. A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone's recruiting profiles. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be added to the rankings due to their individual performances.

Big stages bring out the best in Sofia-Rose Husband. The 6'1" right side won a 2026 Girls Junior National Championship title this summer and was named to the All-Tournament Team. That performance alone helped earn her a spot on the Prep Dig California Class of 2029 State Ranking List and it is a recognition she richly deserves. Husband brings physicality to the pin every time she steps into the front row. After watching her highlights, I loved how aggressive she is on her approach and how high she contacts the ball. She attacks with a long arm swing and her approach touch lets her hit over the block. Her blocking might be the most impressive part of her game. She reads the opposing setter well and seals the antenna with strong, penetrating hands. Those blocks often swing the momentum of a set and turn into scoring runs for her team. Congratulations to SR on a well earned honor.

[player_tooltip player_id='765695' first='Isabella' last='Torres Wallace'] has a knack for showing up when the trophies are handed out. She helped her club team to first place in the USA division at the Salt Lake City tournament and again at Red Rock Rave this spring. She also won a bronze medal at nationals in 2025. Now she adds a spot on the Prep Dig California Class of 2029 State Ranking List to that impressive resume. The 6'1" middle is a natural blocker who presses her hands over the net and closes quickly to the pins. In my review of her highlight reel, her footwork along the net was the first thing that jumped out. She uses a clean crossover step and arrives balanced, which keeps her from drifting into the net or her pin blocker. She already has multiple solo blocks against varsity competition, including two in a single match against Torrey Pines. On offense she is efficient and hits the quick with confidence. Congratulations to Isabella on joining the top middles in the 2029 class.

Not many freshmen get to play on a team that wins a CIF State Open Division title, but [player_tooltip player_id='765057' first='Kassidee' last='Smith'] did exactly that. The 6'2" middle was on the varsity roster for that championship run and gained experience most players her age can only dream about. That big match background is part of why she has earned a spot on the Prep Dig California Class of 2029 State Ranking List. Smith carries a commanding presence the moment she steps on the court. Her timing on the quick is excellent and she hit .500 in her early varsity action this fall. Watching her film, I noticed how quickly she transitions off the net and gets back into her approach. That availability gives her setter a reliable option even when the rally gets messy. She stays composed off broken plays, a trait that separates good middles from great ones. Her long frame also gives her plenty of reach to take away the seam on defense. Congratulations to Kassidee on an honor she has more than earned.

As always stay tuned for more articles on your favorite athletes. If you have anyone you think we should watch out for, please shoot me an email with some info at Michael@prepdig.com. You can also DM me in Instagram and X by searching @CoachMikeDZ. Also don't forget to help these kids get more exposure by sharing our stories with your friends. Help us help them by simply retweeting on Twitter or sharing on Facebook. Thanks for following us, Prep Dig Texas Family! Don't be afraid to interact with us. We love the likes, shares, and quotes/comments. Keep them coming!

Need More Exposure?
