She does an excellent job of squaring up to her target, consistently getting her feet stopped early so she can jump set in rhythm and disguise her location. Her clean release allows her hitters to stay in system. Samantha's ability to transition quickly from defense to setting keeps the tempo of her team's offense flowing. On the defensive side, she takes pride in being more than just a setter—she reads hitters well. Her court awareness makes her a setter who not only runs the offense but also contributes as a steady defensive presence.

This 5'6” setter earned a spot on our watch list for her consistency and precision in the back set. She does an excellent job of creating one-on-one opportunities for her right side. Her ability to disguise and deliver the back set adds another layer of unpredictability to her team's attack. Beyond her setting, she serves as a true utility player—holding her own in serve receive, defending well in the backcourt, and proving she can stay on the floor in multiple roles.

The [program_tooltip program_id='510733' first='Drive' last='Nation'] setter stands out with her leadership and command of the court. She has the ability to control tempo based on the speed of the offense, adjusting seamlessly to keep her hitters in rhythm. Her ball distribution is deliberate and balanced, allowing each attacker to get quality swings and putting constant pressure on opposing blockers. Athletically, she consistently gets her feet stopped and utilizes a clean jump set, showcasing her body control whether she's running a quick tempo or slowing the ball down. Defensively, she isn't afraid to get in the mix—she reads attackers well, makes plays on hard-driven balls, and shows the toughness to stay engaged in rallies. Her competitive mentality, versatility, and ability to elevate her teammates are exactly why she has earned a spot on our watch list.

The TAV all-around setter showcases her versatility by impacting the game in every skill—setting, blocking, attacking, and defending. Her clean, consistent hands make her setting effortless to watch, delivering hittable balls with great location and tempo. What makes her unique is her ability to also rise up and attack, showing she understands offensive rhythm not just as a setter but as a hitter as well. She is a blocking presence at the net, adds value in the back row with her defensive reads, and proves she can contribute in every rotation. Her ability to stay on the floor as a true six-rotation threat makes her one of the most complete setters in her class, and a player opponents always have to account for.
