Meet the Nominees
Ava delivered a standout performance for Seffner Christian, racking up 19 kills and keeping the Crusaders in the fight during a hard-fought 3-2 loss to Santa Fe Catholic. Her powerful swings and consistent presence at the net gave the home crowd plenty to cheer for, especially during a dominant 25-17 opening set. Despite Tomaszewski's efforts, the Crusaders narrowly missed victory, ending their five-match home win streak.

Freshman standout Reese put on an impressive display this week, racking up 43 kills over just seven sets. She powered her team to a four-set victory over Bucyrus with a dominant 26-kill performance, then followed it up with 17 more in a tough three-set loss to Carey. Her explosive offense continues to make a major impact early in her high school career.

In a four-set conference win, freshman Stella delivered a standout performance with 52 assists, 12 digs, and 3 kills, showcasing her growing command as the team's Varsity setter. Stepping confidently into a critical role, she's shown a relentless work ethic and sharp decision-making on the court. “She's hustling her butt off,” her coach said in a recent article, praising her willingness to learn and improve. “We show her the stats, talk strategy, and she's done a really good job building her volleyball IQ.”

Ava turned in a dominant all-around performance in a grueling five-set match, racking up 29 kills, 22 digs, and 7 aces while hitting an impressive .423. She also added 2 blocks, proving to be a force on both offense and defense. Her energy and consistency were key in pushing her team through every momentum shift in the match.

Olivia, a 2027 setter, stepped up in a big way during ERHS's statement sweep over Curtis High School on October 2nd. Running a 6-2 and contributing from the right side, Olivia finished with 23 assists, 3 blocks, 8 digs, and an ace. The win handed Curtis—last year's 4A WIAA State Champion—their first SPSL loss in two seasons and dropped them from No. 3 to No. 8 in the state rankings. Olivia's poise and versatility were key in one of ERHS's biggest wins of the year.

Recently, Ryann etched her name into the record books by breaking the school record for career assists, reaching an incredible 2,956—and now sits just 44 away from the 3,000 mark. Her stellar week included 126 assists and 25 digs across three matches, highlighting her consistency and leadership on the court as she continues to set the pace for her team's offense.

Shylyn made school history this week by becoming the first player to surpass 500 in three stat categories—kills, digs, and assists. She marked the milestone with a triple-double performance, recording 23 assists, 13 kills, 11 digs, along with two blocks and an ace. A two-year captain, Shylyn continues to lead by example, making a major impact in every aspect of the game.
