Wichita And Western Kansas 2027 Kill Leaders

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here is a second report featuring kill leaders during the recently completed prep season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The focus of this report will be members of the Class of 2027 who were among the leaders in kills last season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>For this report, I selected athletes from Wichita and Western Kansas Schools, and those who had completed Prep Dig Profiles. Each of these six athletes recorded at least 300 kills during their junior seasons.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This is not an all-inclusive list. She recorded 574 kills in 104 sets played for the Cardinals. Through three seasons, she has accumulated 1,642 total kills. She is a shoe-in to make a run at 2,000-career kills next season. The North junior finished with 389 kills in 71 sets played this past fall. As a junior, she recorded 314. Another season of 300-plus kills would mean that she reaches the 1,000-career kill plateau. She has also posted back-to-back seasons with at least 200 digs and has 524 for her career. She also finished with an impressive kill total of 349 in 77 sets played. Over the past two seasons, she has registered 610 kills. She is a powerful and dangerous hitter who was also named to my 2027 All-Deck Prep Team. She moves well and can hammer the ball. She has strung together back-to-back seasons with at least 300 kills. She recorded 346 kills in 91 sets played for the homeschool squad. She has a total of 725 kills and 192 blocks over the past two seasons. Cook is a graceful athlete with a mean swing. I saw her and her state tournament-qualifying Maverick teammates play twice this fall. She racked up 323 kills in 92 sets played. That was a career-high total for her. Through three seasons, she has tallied 585 kills and 80 blocks. I saw Lindgren as a sophomore, but missed seeing the Eagles in action in 2025.
