About Jessica

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I have a very intense and serious personality on the court and am a very loud communicator.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Volleyball is my passion. I take practice and game very seriously. I always put forth 100% effort.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I currently attend Blue Valley Southwest High School, where I play Varsity Volleyball, Track, and Field, and I am also involved in AVID, FCS, Future is Female, Red Cross Club, Rec Club, Youth Group, and Spark with my church. I love watching sunsets/sunrises, going to the lake, traveling, and hanging out with my friends

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a co-leader for the high school students bible study at my church. I have been a captain most years during club volleyball. I love doing community service and recently served on a mission trip with my church. I am a member of National Honors Society.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would like to play volleyball at a school that has a good sports medicine/nutrition program. I prefer a smaller school that is within driving distance of my home town (Overland Park, KS). I would like to be able to be involved in Christian based campus activities as well.
