Webb also helped her team recover shanked passes and digs, sprinting for the ball and putting it back in play. The libero was very reliable when asked to set in transition, too, doing a good job of getting the ball near the net, where her hitters could swing it.

Chang featured for the Texas United 18 Red team that accumulated a triumph and a pair of upsets during the day. Kersee also did very well on defense, using her quickness to get to the ball, and was very disciplined with her positioning when covering her hitters. The club volleyball season continues to progress, and last week, while most of the eyes were on the second stop of the Tour of Texas, several other tournaments were held in the Lone Star State.

Among the ones going on in the Houston area was the second stop of the H-Town Showdown, which reunited around 70 teams across three age groups in two venues in the region on Saturday.
