Texas 2027 State Ranking New Additions Vol 1

The State Rankings update is here!!! We have added 21 new players in this update. This series of articles is to introduce them to our readers and every college coach in the country. We have been watching the 2027 class very closely throughout the entire club & high school season. A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone's recruiting profiles. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be added to the rankings due to their individual performances.    Please welcome Miss Reynolds to the State Ranking List. She is currently ranked as the 19th best overall player in the 2027 grad class. She is a 6'2" outside hitter who plays at Cy Ranch High School and [program_tooltip program_id='431166' first='Houston' last='Juniors'] volleyball club. Over the last two years, Reynolds has developed into a dominant left-side attacker who commands attention the moment she steps into her approach. At 6'2”, she brings length, but it is her electrifying approach and explosive arm that separate her from the pack. She displays total body control in every phase of the game, whether she is terminating in transition, defending cross-court swings, or handling serve receive responsibilities. Simply put, she is a true six-rotation outside hitter who checks every box you want in a “go-to” player. What makes Reynolds particularly difficult to defend is her ability to elevate without requiring a long runway. While many attackers rely heavily on building momentum through a full-speed approach, she can gather efficiently off her final two steps and still explode above the net. That quick-load explosiveness makes her unpredictable and extremely hard to time as a blocker. Her long reach allows her to contact the ball at a high point, opening sharp angles and deep seam options that stress any defensive system. When she gets rolling, she can light up both the stat sheet and the scoreboard in a hurry. Beyond the physical tools, there is a steadiness in her game that reflects maturity. She understands how to score in multiple ways with power, high hands, deep corners and she does not force swings unnecessarily. That balance between aggression and control is what separates elite attackers from simply athletic ones. Her commitment to Kentucky is a testament to the trajectory of her development and the impact she projects at the next level. We are proud to officially list Saniyah among the best players in Texas. Welcome to the Prep Dig Texas 2027 State Rankings.     Miss Ngoh is currently ranked as the 40th best overall player in the 2027 grad class according to the Prep Dig Texas State Ranking List. She plays at Seven Lakes High School and also for the [program_tooltip program_id='431166' first='Houston' last='Juniors'] volleyball club. The amount of raw power in Ngoh's game is astounding. When she connects with the ball, the sound alone turns heads across the gym. Her explosiveness at the net allows her to terminate quickly, often before opposing blockers can establish proper hand positioning. She is not just big and physical, she is technically advanced in how she sees the game unfold in front of her. What stands out most about her blocking is her vision and anticipation. She reads the quality of the opponent's pass, processes the likely set location, and explodes laterally to seal the correct side of the net. That ability to close space early makes her a dominant shut down blocker and a true weapon against opposing offensive systems. Attackers must account for her presence at all times. Offensively, she runs the full route tree that you expect from a high level middle. Whether it is a quick in front, a slide, or a tempo variation designed to stress the block, she executes with both precision and speed. Her footwork keeps her balanced and available in transition, which allows her setter to trust her in critical moments. Her commitment to Southern California speaks to both her ceiling and her production. We are proud to have Willtrace listed among the best players in the state of Texas. Please welcome Miss Herron to the Prep Dig Texas 2027 State Ranking List, where she debuts as the No. 53 overall player in the 2027 grad class. Herron is a six foot outside hitter who plays at Waco Midway High School and competes at the club level for Austin [program_tooltip program_id='431229' first='Performance' last='Volleyball']. She has also committed to continue her academic and athletic career at the University of Mississippi. Herron presents a very difficult matchup at the net because of the length in her extremities. Her reach allows her to press over the net and take away valuable attacking space from opposing hitters. One of the most impressive aspects of her defensive game is how she reads the quality of the opponent's pass and anticipates the setter's options. When she recognizes that the ball is likely going to the middle, she cheats with purpose and commits to a disciplined double block alongside her middle. That awareness allows her defense to set up confidently around her hands instead of guessing where the ball might be attacked. Offensively, her length once again becomes a major advantage. Blockers struggle to time her because she contacts the ball at a high point and creates sharp, difficult angles. Her arm swing is lightning quick and compact, which causes the ball to clear the block and reach the floor in a hurry. She does not rely solely on power, but rather combines reach, timing, and speed to generate consistent scoring opportunities.
