As of the writing of this article, all five are still available, and all five show major promise in their respective recruiting journies. If you ever wanted a workhorse as your setter in a 5-1, Kyra's who you should be recruiting. Willing to go through walls to get to every pass and rarely (if ever) calling for help, Miss Joostberns has the athleticism, smarts and hand strength to set any tempo ball to any location in any game situation. Earning a bid to GJNC 18s in Reno later this spring should test how far she's progressed this season against bigger and more experienced competition. Run an offense? Yep, been there, done that. Attack? Court vision is her specialty. She's even gone to the lengths to learn how to “reverse the flow” when getting a not-so-great first contact. The training and the muscle memory are both there—-she's more than capable of running an offense on her own, and a fast one at that. Leading her high school team to their best record in YEARS, she's a coach's captain, and leads by example. Currently running the show on [program_tooltip program_id='431513' first='Munciana' last='Indy']'s Cheetahs (17-1), Kenna's also an adept defender at her position. She's known nothing but winning programs, both at the high school and club levels, and has medaled multiple times at AAUs over the years. Leading Guerin to their best record in years, Claire's one of those kids that don't exactly wow you with her overall skill set——until you realize that SHE is the setter of the team you just lost to. Consistent, accurate and athletic, Claire will fit best in a 6-2 or a smaller school's 5-1 offense.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
