Bluegrass Talent You Need To Know

In a packed venue at the Kentucky Expo Center the talent pool was incredible! With over 1200 teams participating in the three day tournament in Louisville it was great to see new prospects and those who continue to catch our attention. Here is who brought the heat Saturday.    Kennedi topped our list! Black (pictured) is an athlete that checks all the boxes! With consistent high energy and skillful play, you cannot help but be drawn to her play. She has a perfect textbook approach to her attack, with an incredible vertical and a strong, clean swing with excellent contact to make numerous explosive attacks racking up points. She is quick on her feet to dig and holds down the back row, getting hard hits and passing up accurately with excellent form! She has excellent court IQ following the play, covers well, and puts herself in the right position. She can get up for the block, tip accurately and serves a quick fast ball. She supports her teammates, plays with great enthusiasm and has a calm and confident demeanor. One of the top players tournament day!     Margot continues to impress with consistent top level play! A force at the net she puts up a solid defense with a beautiful, well timed block with excellent form and reach. She has a hard swing driving downward balls and can find the seams with excellent ball control and placement. She will tip with well placed balls down the line showing great court IQ fooling the opposition. Margot will serve up aces, will dig in the back row passing up with speed and agility. She covers her teammates well and is a supportive enthusiastic player with talent to match. She is a pillar to her team and a gamechanger on the court!     Ali is the complete package! She runs a smooth court making great decisions showing talent and efficiency of a top setter. She has excellent ball control with great hands and accuracy to set the pins moving quickly and fluidly to get under balls. She utilizes her middles well and sets a fast ball to keep the opposition hustling. Ali shows her athleticism with a beautiful jump set, spot on back set and can set tight or off the net equally and impressively! She is crafty and fast and her front line is ready for her showing excellent rapport with them. She will get to that no so perfect up and make it a perfect pass. Ali shows excellent enthusiasm for her team and runs the court like a well-oiled machine! Love, love, love her play!     Audra is a force to recon with! She has excellent ball control that proves lethal to the front line racking up kills. She has a great attack with textbook arm swing and footwork, with a quick release getting on top of balls to create beautiful fast kills. She shows great control hitting between the seams, down the line, deep in the corners or cross court with consistency and accuracy, Audra has solid blocking with excellent reach with her imposing size and athleticism. She moves quickly and fluidly up and down the net and follows the play well to have great timed blocks. She has a strong serve, can pass up, covers well and shows excellent court IQ. Impressive player that can take it to the next level!     Loren makes on a difference on the court! An imposing player at the net that has consistent play showing excellent depth of talent and athleticism. A solid blocker with excellent timing and technique Loren has great reach and has solid blocking skills solo or in tandem, she can close the block. She moves easily up and down the net with a great swing block and can stuff balls like no tomorrow. With a solid swing Loren adds more exceptional skills on the court, with a clean swing getting balls down effectively. She performs a nice slide with a good cross court shot showing good ball control and contact. Loren will tip accurately and shows good court IQ in her placement. This athlete is going up the ladder!
