Texas 2027 Watch List Liberos Vol 1

Who are players that all college coaches should be giving a legitimate shot to? We have the answer in our Official Watch List. We have scoured the entire state to bring to you players who deserve to have a shot to be recruited by scouts and college coaches all across the nation. This article series will be highlighting them and what they bring to the table. Let's get to know some liberos who are listed and why.    [player_tooltip player_id='580023' first='Kambree' last='Gonzalez'], a Class of 2027 libero from Randall High School in Amarillo and Next Level Volleyball Club, brings a competitive track record that speaks directly to the kind of back row player she is. She was named Libero of the Year for the Texas Panhandle region, earned First Team All-District honors in District 4-4A, and posted 642 digs and 84 aces in a single season, numbers that reflect both her defensive range and her value as a serving weapon. At 5'1" she is built perfectly for the position and plays with the tenacity and floor coverage that makes coaches take notice regardless of height. Her team competed in the UIL 4A State Championship where they placed second, which is the kind of high-stakes postseason experience that separates players who perform when it counts from those who only show up in regular season play. Kambree is a player whose best volleyball is still ahead of her and college programs in the region would be wise to get in early. [player_tooltip player_id='727264' first='Isabella' last='Adcock'], a Class of 2027 libero from Concordia Lutheran High School in Tomball and [program_tooltip program_id='499169' first='MoCo' last='MAVS'] Volleyball Club, has earned her place on the Prep Dig Texas 2027 Watch List by consistently making an impression in the right settings. Prep Dig scouts noted her as one of the most impressive liberos at the Houston Top 250 Expo, specifically calling out her great technique as something that was evident every time she stepped on the court. At 5'7" she has the physical tools to match up against elite offenses, and the technical foundation she brings suggests a player who has put serious work into the position rather than just relying on athleticism to get by. She brings the kind of disciplined, read-first approach to the back row that makes a setter's job easier on every single rally. [player_tooltip player_id='482655' first='Taylor' last='Moosman'], a Class of 2027 libero from Copperas Cove High School and [program_tooltip program_id='431319' first='Texas' last='Fury Volleyball Club'], is a back row competitor who has built her case quietly and consistently in one of the most competitive regions of Central Texas high school volleyball. At 5'4" she plays with the low center of gravity and explosive lateral movement that the position demands, and her ability to get to difficult balls and keep her team in system has been a constant throughout her career at Copperas Cove. She has competed alongside amazing players in both high school and club, which tells you the level of competition she has been tested against on a daily basis in practice and in matches. [program_tooltip program_id='431319' first='Texas' last='Fury Volleyball Club'] is a well-established club program that regularly sends players to the next level, providing her the exposure environment her game deserves. Taylor is a name college staffs should be tracking entering her senior year. We are very proud to have her listed on our Official Watch List and will be keeping our eye on her progress.     [player_tooltip player_id='535645' first='Ella' last='Connell'], a Class of 2027 libero from Crawford High School and [program_tooltip program_id='431367' first='Waco' last='Volleyball Club'], has compiled one of the more impressive individual resumes of any back row player in her classification in the state of Texas. She earned TSWA All-State recognition as both a sophomore and a junior, demonstrated a seven-ace performance in a single match while serving as the team's back row anchor on a Crawford program that won a Class 2A Division II state championship, and has been described by her own coaching staff as a player whose experience and court presence is simply invaluable to everything the program does. At 5'7" she has the size and range to handle elite-level attacking, and her accuracy from the service line adds a dimension that most liberos at any level cannot provide. She has also competed at the national level with [program_tooltip program_id='431367' first='Waco' last='Volleyball Club'], earning experience against top-tier competition well beyond what the high school schedule can offer. Ella is one of the more decorated back row prospects in the entire 2027 class in Texas and college coaches should not need much more convincing than that.
