About Kirra

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is aggressive but controlled. I like to anticipate plays early, and put pressure on opponents while still making smart decisions.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is competitive, positive, and resilient. I stay focused under pressure, support my teammates, and keep pushing no matter the situation.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I play for Tri County Volleyball Association (TCVA) and have received Academic All District honors and All A Honor Roll recognition.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong teamwork, leadership, and communication skills by supporting my teammates, staying positive, and leading by example on and off the court. I actively volunteer at my church and in the community by helping repair and maintain softball fields and volleyball courts. I also assist with track meets for my former middle school.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of my biggest challenges was losing my grandmother in September 2025. I returned to the court the next day to play in her honor, and my teammates supported me by wearing ribbons in her memory. That experience showed me the importance of resilience and the strength of a supportive team.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college with a strong engineering program and a competitive volleyball program where I can grow academically and athletically.
