About Anna

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

5'10" Outside Hitter with a 25" vertical jump and a strong passion for the game. I am a varsity starter at Rogers High School and have been competing at the varsity level since my freshman year. In the classroom, I maintain a 4.0 GPA and am a proud member of the National Junior Honor Society. On the court, I bring energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude every day.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a confident, hardworking, and positive athlete who brings energy to every practice and game. I have a team-first mindset and always look for ways to encourage and support my teammates. I am coachable, competitive, and willing to put in extra work to improve. No matter the situation, I give my best effort, stay focused, and strive to be a leader both on and off the court.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a member of the National Honor Society and work hard to maintain strong grades in the classroom. Outside of volleyball, I am a conference champion in the hurdles, pole vault, and high jump, and I have qualified for the Junior Olympics in track and field.. My family is also an open foster home. I was also a varsity starter as a freshman, and was honored to receive the athlete of the year award

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through volleyball, track and field, academics, and community involvement, I have developed strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. Being a varsity athlete as a freshman taught me how to compete with confidence, stay coachable, and lead by example. Track and field has strengthened my discipline, work ethic, and ability to stay focused on my goals.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One challenge I have faced is balancing volleyball, track, academics, and extra training while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. Managing a busy schedule has taught me how to stay organized, work hard, and push through challenges. Growing up in an open foster home has also helped me become adaptable, compassionate, and resilient when facing change.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college where I can be challenged both academically and athletically. I want to be part of a competitive volleyball program that feels like a family and pushes me to become the best player I can be. Academically, I am looking for a school with strong programs and opportunities to grow as a student. Most importantly, I want to be part of a supportive community!
