About Eliana

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I hope to always play scrappy. As a libero who usually plays one age group up, I pride myself on reading the game a half-beat early, sprinting to every ball, and treating the floor like it owes me something. First contact is my signature! Consistently clean, steady, and fearless. I aim to be the safety net and the alarm system: calling seams and directing traffic.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Coaches trust me because I quickly erase mistakes and apply feedback; my teammates lean on me because I never take a play off. I would like to say that I am a team player mentally and physically.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Union Soccer Club Premier Soccer Former Olympic Development Team member

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Mental toughness to push through even if mistakes happen. But also, trust and accountability. My family, team, and friends know I’ll be there, and that reliability is part of my identity.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have been smaller or younger, and I have even been the smallest and the youngest on the floor, so I can’t rely on size. I have learned to read hitters’ shoulders, anticipate angles, and position early. The game slows down for me while everyone else is still reacting.
