Liberos are always difficult to compare with hitters and setters on a list like this. Wilkerson is averaging just over four digs per set and already has 19 aces. What we don’t have are the passing numbers. Those matter.
A libero’s impact isn’t always going to show up in a box score, so Wilkerson is someone I want to continue watching as we get deeper into the season.

Commits to Seward County
One of my favorite players in the Class of 2027. Gritty, hardworking, plays with reckless abandon and is a coach’s dream.
I have written about Wilkerson before, nicknamed the “Worm” for the way she plays, down and dirty. During club season, she was the MVP of the National Champion Arkansas Select 17s. She has continued that great play this fall for Lake Hamilton.
Right now, the Wolves sit at 8-2 overall and 6-1 in the 5A-South, good for second place.
Wilkerson has committed to play for the Seward County Saints, an NJCAA Division I program in Kansas. She will then have the opportunity to continue her career elsewhere after her time at Seward County.
This is an exciting step in the volleyball process. Choosing the right opportunity is a key to happiness and success, and we congratulate Adalynn on her choice. She’s an amazing player and will continue her career at the highest level of JUCO volleyball.
Season Stats: 21 aces (team leader) | 92 digs (2nd on team) | 122 serve receptions (team leader)

Wilkerson will be counted on heavily to patrol the back row for Lake Hamilton this season, and there is little doubt she can handle it. Fresh off an AAU National Championship and MVP performance, look for a big senior year from the player they call “Worm.”
Adalynn is a sideline-to-sideline defender who doesn’t let much hit the floor. She has great first-ball contact that gets the offense moving and can step in and set out of system when needed. She reads the game well, competes for every ball, and gives Lake Hamilton stability behind the block.
If the Lady Wolves are going to make a run at the 5A South this season, defense will be a big part of the equation. Having Wilkerson in the back row is a pretty good place to start.

Nicknamed “Worm” Wilkerson has knack for getting down and dirty on defense. Right now, she is leading her Arkansas Select 17’s team to the Gold Bracket at the AAU Nationals in Orlando, they will turn right around and head to Indy for the USAV Nationals and compete in the American Division. ASV director, Chris Walker speaks highly of his leader of the defense, “I’d love to see all the best liberos in the state get together and see how she compares.”
Watching Adalynn play what stands out is how well she reads hitters and gets herself in the right position. Her serve receive is solid and her foot work is very advanced. She also does an excellent job of calling spots for her teammates. Walker states, “Adalynn is one of the most energetic and athletic players you will see. Not only does she bring high energy to every play, she makes hard palys look easy and her athleticism allows her to make plays that most can’t.”
Keep an eye out for a commitment soon, being that she already holds a couple of offers.
UPDATE***Adalynn and her team WON the AAU Spirit Division and she was named MVP and All American.***
