We started with a South Central NE gem, so we might as well wrap up with one. Myers, like many of the club’s best athletes, can do a little of everything on the volleyball court. Her defensive prowess was on display with Fillmore Central last fall, but that was in addition to her role as a setter and an attacker. That versatility pays off as Myers ascends the age ladder to compete with South Central NE 17 White, which has made tremendous strides on the regional circuit. April’s slate will be busy for this club, too.

Myers brought a unique combination of skills and positional designations to last Saturday’s event. The South Central NE gem logged plenty of right-side hitter reps at our showcase, but she also exhibited more defensive prowess than you’d expect from an opposite. Myers was eager to absorb contact during first-contact drills and locked down the back row as we transitioned to scrimmages. Underclassman contributors should be a major storyline at Fillmore Central.

South Central NE strikes again. Myers joins the list after a successful freshman debut with Fillmore Central and more breakthroughs with South Central NE 15 Red. She’s a game-changing defensive specialist with a knack for handling first contacts in serve-receive. We might also see Myers expand her attacking role, so look for her to rewrite some narratives this fall.

South Central NE has fielded some exceptional defensive teams with players like Myers leading the way. The Fillmore Central freshman earned ample starting reps in her debut season and racked up triple-digit digs for the Panthers. Myers even had stints in the front row to demonstrate her six-rotation potential. We expect to see many of Myers’ South Central NE teammates on the 2028 watch list after our next update.
