Central Valley returned to the state tournament stage this fall, giving us another stark reminder of Dugan’s explosiveness on the left side. She led the Cougars with 3.6 kills per set and hit nearly 0.300 despite all this volume. We’re thrilled to watch Dugan’s game translate to year-round success in the VCNebraska gym.

Dugan put up eye-popping numbers for Central Valley this year, but seeing her incredible athleticism in person made an even bigger impression on us. This dynamic outside attacker bursts off the floor and utilizes her explosiveness most effectively in out-of-system situations. Dugan hit nearly 0.300 in the 2025 campaign despite being asked to put away plenty of tough swings along the net–a true sign of maturity, poise, and competitiveness. We’re eager to see this small-town star return to the club stage with VCNebraska .

Like Wardyn, Dugan has accumulated plenty of high-level experience on the club side. She has been an effective attacker in the VCNebraska gym and has more to gain on the prep side with Central Valley. The Cougars were on the cusp of a championship appearance last season, so the bar is already high for Dugan heading into Year 2. She has managed to exceed those expectations with three kills per set and a colossal five dig-per-set average from the back row. This six-rotation influence has been a catalyst for Central Valley’s 10-2 start, and the Cougars are looking forward to several more marquee matchups to close out September.

Dugan topped Central Valley’s dig tally this year and was also offered a steady hand in serve receive. She compiled 11 kills in a three-set quarterfinal win against Amherst and was effective again in Friday’s semifinals.
