Fischer made her way into our rankings because she is a setter who knows how to make things happen. She does a great job finding her middles, even when pushed off the net and will track down out of system balls to give her attackers a hittable set. Fischer hustles after everything and does a nice job spreading out the offense, moving the ball around and keeping opposing defenses guessing. She is still young with plenty of development ahead of her, but the tools and court awareness are already there. Fischer is a setter on the rise and her play has earned her a spot in our early rankings.

She jump-set aggressively and wasn’t afraid to push a tight tempo ball to the outside. Her ability to set on the move — especially after chasing passes to the sideline — kept her offense alive. Alyssa Joy Fischer is a fresh face stepping into the high school scene at DGF, and she’s ready to make her mark. A natural setter, Alyssa brings quick hands, solid fundamentals, and the kind of energy that lifts the entire floor. She’s a new player to watch, but already showing signs that she’ll grow quickly in the role.

As she gains experience this season, expect her confidence and control to rise—Alyssa is just getting started.
