About Alyssa

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I think relationships are a big part of what makes a team successful so I work really hard to build those on and off the court so that when moments are hard in the game we know how to reach that teammate and push each other.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is all in. Every play. Every cheer. I want to be the best on the court and cheer the loudest for my teammates.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am active in The National Charity League and FCA. I have been one of two students chosen at my school to receive the award for academic excellence and citizenship twice and I was nominated every year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I work hard to develop communication skills, listening skills and ways to build people up. As a part of the National Charity League I serve in leadership roles with committees and the board of directors to find ways to serve our community and learn new skills. Sometimes that is partnering with adaptive sports participants and others we work at food banks.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for college fit in all areas. I want to be a valuable member of the team and campus while making sure that my academic goals are met.
