I’m not quite sure how Hoang slipped through the cracks in our rankings, but I’m sure that is something that will be corrected soon. Hoang is a quick, athletic middle with a solid vertical and impressive movement along the net. Some of that comes from her natural speed, but just as much comes from her instincts and ability to read the game. Defensively, she reads attackers well, moves quickly laterally, and is quick to close and seal the block. On the attack, she pairs her vertical with a fast arm swing. Hoang is definitely a middle we’ll be keeping a close eye on moving forward.
