Delos Santos is a libero who caught my attention because of how skilled she already plays the position. She is quick, controlled, and methodical with her movements. She doesn’t waste or make false steps, reads the court well, and seems to always know where she needs to be. Delos Santos was also solid in both middle back and left back, showing that she can adjust and be effective wherever she is needed. For a young libero, her court awareness and instincts are impressive. She is player we will be keeping tabs on as she continues to grow her game.

She’s getting her feet set early, holding her platform, and delivering a clean first touch that keeps the offense in system. I see her arriving on time instead of reaching, and that makes a difference. On defense, she’s turning hard-driven balls into playable digs, not just throwing them up. She stays composed when the pace picks up and doesn’t let the moment speed her up.

What to watch this season: Expect her to take on more court in serve receive and become someone her team leans on in tight moments.
