Barr helped her team Excel 17 National Red finish in third place with five wins and just one loss. A very physical player, she was very intense for them on the right, getting off the floor and swinging with incredible power every time she was set on the right. Although Barr’s offense was very successful because of her heavy arm, she also displayed the ability to hit sharp angles and made very few mistakes at the net. Her big and technical blocking was a challenge for opposing pin hitters who met her at the net.

Barr can efficiently play at either pin, but has been more frequently used on the right by her Madfrog 16 N Green team that will compete in the 16 Open division. Her tremendous offensive power makes of her a great fit for the position as Barr can consistently swing with power and put the ball down. There’s a lot of technique and skills in her game too, as she wouldn’t be as effective as is she is if it wasn’t for her precision when siding out. Her ball control also allows her to play great defense and be a solid passer for her team.

A long and athletic outside hitter, Barr is a fantastic offensive player. Her size is a big asset, but only because she knows the best ways to use it to score. Barr always fully stretches her arm before swinging, guaranteeing she makes contact with the ball at the highest possible point, and uses her upper body really well to add some extra power to her swings. Another thing she does really well is waiting until the last moment to star her approach, giving her a better chance of adjusting to sets off the net. She also does well with her passing and defense.
