Committed to Appalachian State, Culkar’s stock certainly jumped over the recent club season as the primary pin asserted herself well for her AVC team. She heads into her final high school season looking to lead SJA’s offense with her arm following a career high effort of 4.2 k/s in 2025. The Jaguars have a good group returning as they look to rebound from a sub .500 record last season.

So electric.  Anne Culkar is a six rotation outside hitter who came up huge for AVC 17 Red, specifically in the match I saw her play against Northern Lights 17-1 which essentially propelled them to the final gold pools. From serve receive to passing to scoring points on the pin she just made things happen.  She created a lot of action on their side of the net and was always an outlet to score no matter what rotation she was in.  She will be heading to App State and this seems like a great fit for her. 

The 5’10 pin is committed to Appalachian State. She led SJA’s offense in 2025 with a career high 4.1 k/s along with 4.7 d/m and 1.3 b/m. She has good all-around skills that will provide depth in their offensive point scoring as well as passing and defense among a loaded AVC 17 Red team this coming club season.
