Jang and her Spaceneedle 16 Kala team posted a 3-0 record to start the tournament. The lefty libero wasn’t in the libero jersey every match; SNVF worked creative line-ups throughout the day. Against AAVA 16 Storm, Jang worked in for three rotations in the back row and was sharp in serve, receive, and defense. Later, versus Podio she was back in her familiar libero jersey, scooping up tips and shots when attackers tried to go off-speed.
