How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a 6'2" junior at Harrison County High School (Cynthiana, KY) competing as a key member of the varsity volleyball team for the third year. With a strong presence at the net, I work hard as the Middle Blocker, combining athleticism, court vision, and high volleyball IQ. I have stepped up into a leadership role this season, focusing on elevating both personal performance and team success.

Whitaker makes plays from the middle and the outside using her size for the Fillies. Whitaker makes nice blocks on balls near her. She took some hard swings and pushed balls to the shallow ones for big points throughout the game for Harrison County.

Whitaker has made strides with her quickness during the club season and it showed Saturday. Whitaker hits balls to lines and is not afraid to tip balls over double blocks if the opening is there. Whitaker knows to step away from the net to make good passes when opponents send free balls over the net.

Whitaker has the tools to receive some looks if certain aspects of her game come together. Whitaker is a strong blocker. She uses her height to jump up and force hitters to go over or around her, making it easier for the defensive specialists to get to balls. Whitaker also puts down overpassed balls quickly. Whitaker does a good job placing balls to the back row and landing soft hits to the sides. Whitaker had 123 kills to go with team-highs of 41 solo and 44 assisted blocks, helping Harrison County go 23-15 and make it back to the 10th Region Tournament.
