Recently competing at the Big South NQ, Lange was impressive with her arm when in system and on time as a middle. Her deliberate bow and arrow in the air has proven to be lethal in the pace she can bring when she finds and swings through space. Multiple times the opposing back row defenders could not catch up the emphatic speed of the ball coming off her contact. She and her Elite VBTC 15 Black team will wrap up their JVA World Challenge play this weekend in the silver bracket.

Lange has opened her club season aggressively as she is asserting herself as a primary offensive option for her team out of the middle. She approaches well and opens her shoulders fully and uses her arm speed to get big pace on the ball. When she has good space, her ability to swing through both sides of the court is a testament to the advanced tools she has at this point. As long as her team can create opportunities through the first contact phase, look for her to get a lot of opportunities to swing. Elite VBTC 15 Black recently finished 2nd at the MLK Extravaganza event.

Lange arrived on the radar over the high school season in a big way. With 182 kills on the season for Alder, she averaged 2.1 k/s while earning double-figure kills in eight matches. At 6’1, she has good length as a pin attacker with confidence to get up and swing aggressively from either side of the court. Her arm should score a lot of points this club season with Elite VBTC’s top 15U squad.
