Jesse Etter | Prep Dig Scout
Williams is a fun player to watch; she brings energy and plays with fire- revving up her team when she pounds down a kill. She is aggressive in transition, showing urgency to get off the net and make herself available to her setter. Williams also has touch and shots as an attacker- she can push a ball to the back corner or drop in an open-hand tip right over the top of a blocker. She is currently the 50th-ranked overall player in the 2027 Washington class.

Williams is a player who came on strong during the club season. Young players with size typically hit a point where things click, and the Lynnwood prospect was there in the back half of her campaign. Williams has a high contact point and can turn the ball around the block at a vicious angle. She was smartly throwing down jousts and overpasses, strong with two hands, and handled second-ball chances at the net with higher confidence. Williams should have a terrific junior year for Lynnwood before the club season with Space Needle.

Williams is a long, lean middle with a quick arm, and big-time upside. She rarely swings straight at the block, she is smart in turning the attack cross court or line to rack up kills. Williams has liberos defending with their hands up, she can fire a hard-driven angle swing at a defender in a hurry with her high contact point and leverage. NW Juniors UA Black comes into the 15 Open seeded 7th overall, and Williams has a chance to face off against excellent middles starting in pool play day one.

Williams is a long 6’1″ with a smooth arm swing, and is rapidly improving as a terminal middle attacker. She likes to turn the ball and has left right back defenders flailing in her wake this season. It is easy to see Williams rising in the middle and overall rankings, her length, fluid movement and sound arm swing are ideal at the position. The Lynwood High School and NW Juniors 2027 is one to watch!
