Urbanzo will feed a set against the grain if she senses a moddle cheating, resulting in 1-on-1 opportunities for her right side. She is an excellent beach player and it shows defensively; she stays low, can pop up a spectacular one handed dig and reads hitters intentions quickly.

Urbanzo and her Space Needle Blitz team are putting together an outstanding season; they finished second in the Regional Championships, earning a bid to Nationals. The Everett prospect is an excellent floor general and plays with hustle and tenacity. Her background in sand shines defensively, and she is not afraid to mix it up at the net when needed.

Urbanozo packs a lot of game into every match, she can do everything you want as a setter and is also a high-level defender who can take a swing from the pin and the pipe. She is an effective blocker; her strong hands and excellent timing make up for any height difference she has to battle against. Urbanozo runs a fast-tempo offense, speeding things up with her jump setting and ability to send sets pin-to-pin quickly and accurately.

Urbanzo packs a punch for her size, and it shows up in her excellent overall play from the setter spot. She has a forceful jump float that gives passers trouble with it’s excellent pace. She can backpedal and still throw a set to the pin or dial up a laser to her middle running the 31 in the seam. Her defense is terrific, she has the strength to handle hard shots and the calm platform when she reads an off speed shot headed her way. Urbanzo racked up aces at the Fiesta Classic in Tempe over the holiday weekend, the Blue Royals 15’s team should be fun to watch all season.
