VCNebraska 15 White offered a wealth of fresh faces for our watch list, and DeFreece assured her spot through this spring’s success. She was a prominent member of the 15 White attack, and she took more out-of-system swings than you’d expect from an opposite. VCNebraska did not hesitate to lob a high ball to their right-side hitter and allow DeFreece to find a way. Her penchant for bettering the ball makes her a clear candidate to lead future VCN lineups.
