Ava can hold down the back row! She is quick on her feet, with excellent court IQ and confidence. She follows the play moving in all directions easily and fluidly. She is eyes up and has a ready stance to receive any ball. She passes up accurately and with a great platform utilizing her shoulder and arms with perfect angles absorbing those hard hits from first contact. She never seems panicked, and gets all balls up and playable. Ava plays the seams successfully with clean passes, plays out of system balls easily and can slow the play down if needed for her team to regroup. She is smart, fast and consistent. We absolutely loved her play and see big things on the horizon for her future!
