Avery is another Blue Ridge player that shot up in the rankings moving from number 65 to 50. Her rise gives Blue Ridge four players in the top 50 of our 2028 rankings. At 5’9″ she is a smaller outside. She held her own in a strong USA Division at Junior Nationals, helping Blue Ridge to a 13th place finish.

Avery plays for Millbrook which last year lost to James Wood in the semi-finals of the Regionals. In years past, before the arrival of Kennedy Spaid and Brenna Corbin to James Wood, Millbrook dominated the Northwest District. This year Millbrook has four returning players voted to the first team in the Northwestern District including Avery while James Wood graduates three of their four players who earned a spot on the first team.

Avery will share the outside hitting duties with Connecticut bound Aaliyah Green Aaliyah Green 5'11" | OH/RS Millbrook | 2027 State VA .

Blue Ridge is one of those clubs many are not familiar with because they normally play in AAUs. This time they take their game to USAV with Indianapolis a drive away from Winchester.

Avery is one of those shorter outsides that consistently puts the ball away. With the 6’3″ Alexis Stephens Alexis Stephens 6'3" | MB Spring Mills | 2028 State VA playing middle her stature is even more pronounced. Catherine Warren Catherine Warren OH VA is another outside who can punish the ball.

Despite being seeded last in their pool and 44th overall they surprised everyone finishing second in their pool. They won a tie breaker against two other teams with 3-3 records. Blue Ridge will be the second seed in their pool with Top Flight and Volt.

While the 6’3″ Alexis Stephens Alexis Stephens 6'3" | MB Spring Mills | 2028 State VA provides the bulk of the offense from the middle the 5’9″ Avery Fauver Avery Fauver 5'9" | OH Millbrook | 2028 State VA does the damage from the pins. She may lack the height of Alexis but the velocity stays strong.

Avery has developed many of those volleyball skills toiling on the beach. She ranks number 41 in the class of 2028. Recently she played with Teagan Braun-Duin Teagan Braun-Duin 5'7" | S/RS John Handley | 2028 State VA to take second place in the Chesapeake Regional National Qualifier. This earns them a bid to National Championships which will be played in Virginia Beach.

Avery will also compete with Blue Ridge in the Junior National championships in the USA Division in Indianapolis, Indiana.
