Brooke’s Voice
“One thing I’d want college coaches to know about my game, it’s that I’m someone they can depend on. Between competing at a high level and taking five AP classes, I’ve learned how to manage my time, stay organized, and follow through on my commitments, which has helped me stay composed and perform under pressure. I believe character shows up most when you’re tired, stressed, or things aren’t going your way, and those are the moments that matter most. I try to bring that mindset to my game by competing hard, communicating, and being someone my coaches and teammates can count on in any situation.”

She connects character to the moments when she is tired or things go wrong, which is the question evaluators care about most. Who is she when it gets hard?
