Brooklyn is another back-row baller who had to be added to the list. Scheetz has been a consistent and strong piece of Iowa United’s program over the last two years. Brooklyn is an unstoppable libero who doesn’t shy away from competition. No matter who’s on the other side of the net, Brooklyn keeps her gameplay and grit the same. She really hones in on clean first-contact passes to her setter. And even when going up against the best, she manages to get touches on every ball she can. Sheetz is another DS that is in the running for top in the state and has aspirations to get even better.

United 14s qualified for the USAV Junior Nationals on the back of a talented roster with notable individuals at key positions. Scheetz played consistently well while wearing the jersey. Her work in turning serves and opposing attacks into usable passes allowed United to regularly swing away with its strong collection of attackers. Scheetz tracks serves well in receiving. She’s quick moving side to side. A good communicator, Scheetz shares what she’s seeing with teammates, helps get everybody lined up properly and makes sure they’re aware of their responsibilities. She has a good chance to play early at Holy Trinity, one of the state’s top small-school programs.
