Wheeler has enjoyed a breakout campaign as a part of the Liberty rotation, providing additional firepower at the pin that’s helped the Lightning compete with best in the state. The performance isn’t surprising to folks that have watched her along the club circuit. The senior is a good athlete with a usable vertical leap and heaviness in the swing. Wheeler appears to be improving her consistency in serve-receive and defending at the net. She does well in flowing with the action and presenting herself on the attack.
