Wilson’s on-court performance has ranked among the best in her age group in Iowa throughout the years watching her play club ball and for Liberty High. The Lightning senior reminded me of her grit and determination when viewing her compete multiple times during the last several weeks. The Queens College of Charlotte (NC) commitment is a very well-rounded volleyballer. She can take care of business at the pin, succeeding with a combination of power and whit. Wilson has become a consistently reliable competitor in the back row whether standing up against the attack or in turning around serve-receive. She also contributes with defense at the net.

If anyone is looking for a good example on how to curate highlights, the search should include a stop at Wilson’s page. Breaking them up into tournaments, months and seasons works really well. Also, on her page, you can watch one of the most consistently good performers in Iowa’s 2027 Class. Wilson has worked hard through the years to sharpen all parts of her game, and it’s made her one of the most complete contributors around. She’s been attacking from the pin with a strong vertical leap and a powerful swing for some time now. Wilson has made her biggest leaps in defending in the back row. A good athlete with lateral quickness, she complements those natural gifts by reading the ball well and being technically sound.
