Bakula has been a fixture in the Cedar Falls lineup for what feels like a decade. She’s enjoyed an incredible career and has helped the Tigers to a whole lot of victories. Bakula was rock solid again when I scouted her at Iowa City High on Sept. 30, 2025. Her sets were precise as she ran the operation smoothly and on time. Bakula is a combination of sharp skills, a high volleyball IQ and excellent leadership qualities. She’s always talking on the floor, helping teammates and finding ways to top the opponent. If Bakula wanted to play the sport in college, plenty of programs would have her, and they’d be better for it.

I heard in the fall that Bakula wasn’t going to play volleyball in college. If that’s the case, it’s a shame for the sport. Bakula has a lot to offer programs on the next level. She’s a complete setter that’s expanded her game in the last year with an improved swing and defense on both levels. She dished out 677 assists for Cedar Falls last season. She came up with 198 digs, 55 kills and 25.0 blocks as well. Bakula has continued her ascension this club season for a Six Pack outfit that finished second in the Iowa regional tournament and will be heading to Dallas for the nationals this summer.
