About Callie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My Gameplay style would be best described as upbeat and active. In a game I focus on leading my team to victory as I am a very competitive and vocal backrow player.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I would describe my personality as loud. Mentality wise I believe that you should never give in because you don’t believe you are improving. Improvement comes in small steps and takes time so when you see it’s okay to make mistakes, that’s when you are gonna grow as a volleyball player.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I volunteer around town a lot, my main place though is Hospice of Lake Cumberland.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Volleyball had definitely helped me understand the aspects of what makes a true leader. Whether that be attitude, energy, or sometimes even faith. Team building is one of my favorite things to do, finally seeing your team mesh together as you bond is just so magical.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Personally I have had both mental and physical health problems from an abusive coach and hope to work through them soon. I have already come a long way and genuinely love volleyball again.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that has a Good education while being clean at the same time.

Davis has been a big reason why the Cougars have surprised many people this season. Davis makes good passes under control, only diving when necessary. Setovers do not fool Davis easily. She can make one-armed saves. Davis also sends across a sound line drive serve.
