Berger is a setter who can run a 5-1 with ease.  She can also run a 6-2 and swing when she isn’t setting.  Berger has a really high volleyball IQ and can consistently jump set with accuracy.  She plays with tenacity and little ego as you can tell she plays to win, not for individual stats or glory.  Berger is an immediate impact player that  can lead on and off the court.

Berger only moved a couple spots from #4 to #2 but after leading Eden Prairie to the X and taking Vital Volleyball ‘ last=”] 18-1 Gold on an epic nationals run last summer she earned a spot on the AVCA All-America Watch List, 2nd Team All Region, and another year on the Class AAAA ALl-State team.  She is committed to Michigan State and I can’t find her on any club rosters yet.  Berger will do big things so get ready to hear her name, a lot.

Berger has a proven track record to take teams deep into tournaments.  Last fall she helped take Eden Prairie deep in the Class AAAA Tournament while earning All-State honors.  She took that experience with her and provided fantastic contributions to her Vital Volleyball ‘ last=”] 18-1 team at their National competition, making an impressive deep tournament run.  Berger is athletic, skilled, and a strong leader as she plays with confidence. She knows how to make big plays and foster relationships with her attackers from pin to pin. I think her senior year will be a really fun one to watch in both high school and club.
