Dawson is a physical specimen and was not at all intimidated by the level of competition at the camp. She is a multiple-sport athlete who also plays softball. She is primarily a pitcher and first baseman, but has also played in the outfield. She can hit from the middle or the outside. She competed in a group that also included tall players Addison Schwinn Addison Schwinn 5'11" | MB Jefferson West | 2026 State KS (Jefferson West) and Rebekah Lassey Rebekah Lassey 6'1" | MB Holton | 2027 State KS (Holton). She hung with both of them, and I am guessing the three have an impressive showing during the afternoon scrimmage session. Campbell is ranked No. 37 overall in the Kansas Class of 2027.
