What a scrappy athlete for Madtown 162 National. Sydney Repinski is a libero who actually preps at Winona Cotter out of Winona, Minnesota and plays club volleyball for Madtown in Sun Prairie. She sets the tone from the service line and knows how to command the backrow. She is able to handle a high volume of serve receive and knows how to keep the ball in system on a hard swing. There are a lot of really good athletes on this team who will be ones to keep tabs on throughout the rest of the season to get to camp this summer.

Repinski ruled the back court this past weekend at the Bracket Busters. Her leadership and constant communication keeps her team in synch with each other. Repinski was highly efficient at serve receive, which kept her team in system so they could run their offense effectively. Repinski also impressed with several huge digs and saves on defense and with her out of system setting that led to many kills for her team.

Repinski preps at Winona Cotter where she is already considered a veteran on the varsity team. Earning her varsity spot in the 8th grade, Repinski took over the libero duties her freshman year, averaged 4.6 dig/set, and handled the bulk of the team’s serve receive. Not only is she proficient at serve receive and digging, but she excels in out of system setting to her pin hitters giving them a distinct advantage in generating kills for the team.

Sydney preps at Winona Cotter where she was the varsity libero as a freshman and an intricate part of Cotter’s success as they made their run deep in the playoffs this past season. Sydney’s many strengths include serve receive, digging, and out of system passing. Sydney earned conference defensive player of the week and all conference all honorable mention. I anticipate that her experience and leadership will be a strength for the talented, young Elevate team.
