About Daisy

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play with a lot of energy and aggressiveness

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I always put my teammates before myself, and I am very vocal and resilient.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in FFA, Circle of Friends, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. I am also involved in my community through volunteering at a local nursing facility.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership on and off the court, and adaptability when things change.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I faced a position change this year, and it was difficult for me. I was able to change my training routine in order to help develop the new skills that I needed for the change in position. I adapted very quickly. I had never been a setter before, but by changing up my routine, I was able to make the change quickly and effectively.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would like to go to a bigger school, but I have no specific location.

Newton’s Bradshaw competes for Shockwave 15-1. Bradshaw is ranked No. 10 overall in the Kansas Class of 2029 rankings. She had a memorable freshman season for the Railroaders. She registered 181 kills, 211 digs, 119 assists, and 229 serve receptions. I watched some of her HUDL highlights from her prep season. She gets good extension and has a smooth approach.

Rounding out the Top Ten is an athlete debuting in the rankings from Newton. The Railroader freshman had an impact season last fall, producing 181 kills, 211 digs, 119 assists, and 228 serve receptions. If a stat line like that is not rankings-worthy, then I sure would like to see one that is! I have not seen her play in person, but I like the aggressiveness I saw her play with in her video highlights. I also understand she wants to study sports medicine.
