This year’s Shockwave 16 Black squad churned out plenty of rankings storylines for our 2028 update. Now, we have another one for the 2029s. Davee’s long stature and sky-high contact point were enough to justify playing with the 16s this year, and the big-time results rolled in. Her scoring onslaught in front of the setter lifted Shockwave to a top-five placement at AAU Nationals, capping a stellar season for the Wichita-area group. This unstoppable middle blocker looks poised for a big uptick in production in Year 2 with Maize South.

Davee is currently ranked No. 42 overall by Prep Kansas. She is one of the tallest athletes in this class. She is coming off an injury-shortened freshman season. She tallied 59 kills and 35 blocks in 43 sets played for the Mavericks. I saw some recent game highlights from her club season, and she looks healthy. She is well coached, already has unofficial interest from college coaches, and has an older sister, Addison, who is ranked No. 33 overall in the Kansas Class of 2027.
